One of my favorite parts about vacation is trying out new restaurants! When we took the kids to Sesame Place this summer (view the blog recap), we tried a ton of new places.
One spot was Bernie’s Restaurant & Bar in Hatboro, PA. It's a kid-friendly, casual dining restaurant and bar offering an extensive selection of craft beers and wines.
When we arrived, we saw there was a loft area, so my husband asked if we could sit upstairs. And wow! The view was amazing and it had a pool table, which is my husband's favorite thing! We unloaded and started playing and watching TV. The kids were really excited. And it was perfect because we ended up having the loft area to ourselves.
I had the sangria and shrimp grits, which were amazing.
Rasoul had the margarita flight - a MUST TRY!
Rashad had a breakfast platter, which included eggs, potatoes, and an English muffin. Riann had eggs and fruit.
There's always something fun happening at Bernie's. They do special events throughout the year during sporting events, Philly Beer Week and the change of seasons. They host Latin Nights and game nights with trivia, music bingo, table games, cornhole, and more.
Bernie’s was designed with private parties in mind. The bar area, the main dining room, the mezzanine, and the two private rooms can be customized to fit groups of 10 to 200 people. They have live music every Saturday during brunch. You can expect some of their food favorites such as burgers, honey bbq wings, poutine, ahi tuna, and parmesan punched potatoes.
If you are looking for a laid-back restaurant vibe, Bernie’s is the place to go!
